Version Statuses

• Actual – the latest released stable version (the first one in the “Version History” list):

  • technical support is available;
  • receives bug fixes;
  • may receive new functionality;
  • documentation is kept up to date;
  • testing is focused on this version.

• Supported – two major versions prior to the actual one (the second and third in the “Version History” list):

  • technical support is available;
  • may receive bug fixes;
  • do not receive new functionality;
  • documentation is kept up to date;
  • bugs discovered during operation are reproduced on the actual version.

• Unsupported – all other versions:

  • technical support consultations are available only for upgrading to an actual or supported version;
  • do not receive bug fixes;
  • do not receive new functionality;
  • documentation is not kept up to date;
  • bugs discovered during operation are not reproduced.

• Release candidate – versions with the rc suffix:

  • technical support is available;
  • in case of problems when updating from release candidate to an actual or supported version, technical support assistance is provided;
  • intended for evaluation and rapid delivery of requested functionality prior to stable version release;
  • may contain bugs;
  • documentation may be incomplete.
