Collector Documentation

Collector is a additionally licensed MITIGATOR functionality block for collecting and analyzing network equipment telemetry.

The primary use case is DDoS attack detection and traffic analytical reporting in conjunction with MITIGATOR.

Collector supports telemetry receiving via NetFlow v5/v9, sFlow v5, IPFIX.

Versioning

Collector is released independently from MITIGATOR. Compatibility between the products is listed on this site. For example, Collector v23.03 can work with MITIGATOR v22.12 and v23.02.

Each version consists of a major number (branch) and a minor number. For example, v22.12.3 major number is 22.12, minor number is 3.

Each major version vXX.YY of the product has its own version of the site, which can be seen in the address bar: https://docs.mitigator.ru/vXX.YY/.... The latest stable version is offered by default. To download a file or read the documentation for an older version, specify that version in the address. For RC versions, specify master.

Notes

All commands are executed from the working directory /srv/collector as root by default.

All manuals assume basic Docker knowledge.
