Version v23.05

Collector v23.05 features increased performance, optimized metric storage, modified the filtering by interface numbers and added the ability to work without a database.

Changes in v23.05

Detect. The ability to work without a database has been added.

Now the traffic graphs are displayed and the detection mechanism works even in the absence of a database or connectivity loss with a database. Collector in this mode works as a detector, not as an analytics tool.

Report. The ability to filter traffic by its direction on the interface has been added.

Now you can get statistics both as ingress and egress flows on interfaces.

Report. The limits on memory usage by a database has been deleted.

Now you can run requests that fetch a larger flow size or longer intervals.

Performance. Flow parsing speed has been increased.

Performance. The speed of writing data to the database has been increased.

Performance. The disk space consumption for database storage has been reduced.

Metrics. Metrics default storage time has been changed to one week.

You can change the storage time if necessary.
