Version v23.11

Version v23.11 added an operational data store mode, filtering by GeoIP, and generation of reports on drops. Exporter settings have been expanded, the way IPv6 addresses are stored in the database changed, and Collector performance improved.

Follow the special instructions to update to v23.11 version.

After updating to version v23.11, hugepages consumption will increase. Allocate more hugepages if necessary.

Changes in v23.11

Report. Operational data store mode added.

Added an operating mode in which Collector can show top packet field values for a limited recent time span without using ClickHouse. More details.

Report. Filtering by GeoIP added to reports.

Added filtering by autonomous system numbers and names, country names and ISO codes.

Report. Added generation of reports on drops.

Added accounting of drops data received in NetFlow. Previously, only sFlow with drops data was accounted. Now Collector can build reports on drops data received using any protocol.

Exporters. Added the ability to set the name of the flow exporter.
Database. Lossless storage of IPv6 addresses.

The way IPv6 addresses are stored has been changed. Previously, IPv6 addresses were stored as uint64 and were therefore limited by the /64 mask.

Performance. Increased the requests processing speed to the database.
