Update to v25.10

Collector v25.10 has dropped support for Docker Compose version 1.

Docker Compose Update

  1. Remove Docker Compose v1.
  2. Install Docker Compose from the official repository and make the binary executable:
    curl -L "https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/v2.28.1/docker-compose-$(uname -s)-$(uname -m)" -o /usr/bin/docker-compose \
    && chmod +x /usr/bin/docker-compose
  3. Make sure that the docker-compose version command output shows version 2.
  4. Make sure there is no version: "2.2" line in docker-compose.override.yml or any additional YAML from the COMPOSE_FILE variable in .env.

VPN Usage

Please check that your VPN settings are correct. In v25.10, security enhancements have been implemented, in particular, access to ClickHouse (9000) and GRPC API (8853) ports has been closed. If you need to open access, for example for external integrations, you must:

  1. Create or modify docker-compose.override.yml

    services:
      gateway:
        ports:
        - "${COLLECTOR_BACKEND_METRICS_PORT:-8853}:8853"
        - "${CLICKHOUSE_PORT:-9000}:9000"
  2. Specify docker-compose.override.yml in the COMPOSE_FILE variable of the .env file.
